Furniture Support

If you are working with someone in urgent need of essential furniture or household goods we may be able to help. We work closely with partner organisations across South West London.

What type of Furniture can we help with

We aim to offer items appropriate to clients’ needs, space and access restrictions. We don’t have a wide range in stock, so we cannot usually offer a choice, but we should be able to help with the following types of furniture and white goods. 

Sofas

Dining tables & chairs

Bedroom storage

Desks

Electric cookers

Bed frames

Matresses

Microwaves

Fridge freezers

Chest of drawers

Provided that your item is in good condition and free of damage and stains you can donate it. Please email our volunteers to arrange a collection: donatefurniture@donslocalaction.org

How it works

Step 1

Email us at FurnitureReferrals@donslocalaction.org with the details of your client, providing the following information

Step 2

We will send you our full Referral Process and ask you to sign it and return it to us. We often operate a waiting list for items such as wardrobes, fridge freezers etc. We strongly recommend that if a client is advised there is a long wait, that you seek other options.

Step 3

We will contact your client and begin the process of allocating appropriate furniture if we have it in stock. We will then arrange a delivery date – these are often on a Tuesday when our furniture delivery team usually volunteer.
