Important Information

At DLAG, we run a lean operation powered by a small staff team and an incredible army of dedicated volunteers. Together, we collect, sort, and redistribute essential items to people in need across South West London.

Our food operation is at the heart of what we do. We gather donated food outside shops from generous shoppers, package it up, and get it out quickly – either directly to individuals and families referred to us by schools, social services, and other partners, or in bulk to foodbanks, women’s refuges, homeless charities, and other frontline organisations.

We also provide digital access by collecting donated laptops and tablets, wiping them securely, and distributing them via schools, colleges, and community groups who identify people in need.

Our furniture and household essentials service matches free items with those referred to us by trusted partners, and we move quickly to make sure people get what they need, when they need it.

We also redistribute musical instruments and school uniform in a similar way – working with schools and community partners to move surplus stock to where it will have the greatest impact.

All of this is made possible by our vital fundraising events, some grant funding and generous public donations.

We believe in simplicity and also that we are not just donating practical support but offering love, care and hope to our community with dignity.
