What We Do

Food

At DLAG, we believe that we don’t just donate food – we deliver love, hope, care, and dignity. Our food parcels are nutritious and packed with fresh fruit and vegetables, ensuring that those in need receive the essential sustenance required for a healthy life. Thanks to the generosity of our donors at local supermarkets and special partners who supply food in bulk, we can provide ongoing support to individuals and families facing hardship. Alongside food, we also supply toiletries, nappies, and hygiene products, ensuring that basic needs are met with care and respect.

Tech

By providing technology we deliver access, opportunity, and empowerment. Our tech support initiatives ensure that young people and families in need have access to essential digital tools, bridging the gap in education, work, and daily life. Thanks to the generosity of our donors and corporate partners who supply laptops, tablets, and internet access, we can provide ongoing support to those facing digital exclusion.

Working closely with trusted referral partners such as housing associations, schools, and local charities, we match urgent needs with available stock – quickly and with care. From beds and sofas to tables, chairs, and white goods, we ensure people don’t have to go without the basic items that make a house feel like home.

Instruments

Our DLAG in Tune Instruments initiative supports young people from low-income households by providing them with free access to musical instruments. We work in partnership with The Jack Lonergan Foundation, which offers free music lessons to children who otherwise wouldn’t have the opportunity. By supplying the instruments these pupils need, we help remove financial barriers and ensure they can fully take part, develop their talents, and experience the joy of music.

Uniforms

DLAG in Uniform ensures that children from low-income households have access to good-quality, unbranded school uniform. We collect donated items and work directly with schools, who then discreetly distribute the uniform to pupils in need. This approach helps reduce pressure on families, supports inclusion, and ensures every child can feel comfortable and ready to learn.
