13th June: Store Walk

Join us for the Dons Local Action Group Store Walk, a special day where everyone can come together, raise funds for DLAG and hopefully enjoy some sun! We’ll be visiting local stores, creating a visible show of support for the work we do and celebrating the incredible community behind it. There are lots of ways to take part, whether you’d like to walk part of the route, help us visit different stores, or simply be there to support the day. It’s relaxed, welcoming, and a great opportunity to spend time together as a team and we’d love you to bring friends and family along to be part of the day too.

Every step we take will help raise vital funds to keep our two vans, Missie and Haydon, on the road. As they get older and costs continue to rise, we need a extra help to keep them running so they can continue delivering food and support our community. The total cost to keep our vans moving is £10,000 every year – this includes MOT, insurance, fuel and maintenance.
By joining the Store Walk, you’ll be helping protect the heart of what we do, making sure our vans keep moving and our support keeps reaching the people who need it most. This event is open to everyone, so we strongly encourage you to bring your family and friends with you on the day. Come along and be part of a brilliant day of action together!
